I had an older version of the Asics Trabuco and was really happy with it for quite some time. Once it was too worn out, I bought the new model and it is as good as the prior model. The key feature I really like about this shoe is its water resistance. I used this show on a few 24-hour type foot races, some of them in really bad and wet weather. That shoe (as well as the previous model) has kept my feet dry for many hours despite running/walking in rain, across wet grass and through puddles (of course it won't keep you dry if the water runs in from the top). Grip of the shoes is excellent, thanks to a fairly aggressive and rugged pattern of the sole.
