Review:
This is an excellent thin GoreTex jacket that is most suitable for cycling (which is its main selling point) and light-weight hiking. It is a very thin layered GoreTex fabric, which makes the jacket very small when rolled up and fits easily into the back pocket of a cycling jersey or takes up little space and weight in a backpack. Wind and rain protection is still excellent despite its thin material (although I have used this jacket for less than a year at the time of writing this review - so one will see how it performs over the years).
Pros:
- Good wind and rain protection
- Very light weight
- Packs down to a really small size
Cons:
- No pockets
- No hood
Comment:
Although with about $200AUD the jacket is not necessarily cheap, it is a good product and I can recommend it if you are looking for a good rain and wind protection jacket with minimal weight and pack size.
