Review:
I purchased this knife as a solid camping and hiking knife. The blade is strong and also has some saw elements on it. Like the additional whistle and flint, which is good when you use this as a survival knife (however I have never used these additional tools as I have another flint thats easier to hold and use). The knife does what its supposed to do although due to its weight I have not take it on multi-day hikes where I want to conserve weight.
Pros:
- Good blade
- Extra Flint and Whistle
- Solid shaft
Cons:
- Slightly too heavy to take along to multi-day hikes where you try to save weight. For such trips I prefer to use the Bear Grylls/Gerber Multi-Tool.
Comment:
Good product, you can probably get it for slightly cheaper when you buy the same product without the Bear Grylls branding on it. I bought it thought due to its additional features and the rubber grip handle.
