Review:
This was my first adventure racing and trail running shoe and I currently own 2 pairs. A perfectly fitting shoe with Salomons famous one-pull lacing system, the shoe is light and provides good support for general trail running and walking. The water resistance is pretty good as well and has lasted for a few years, however it deteriorates over time (as does every product's water resistance/repellency). Although I understand the goal of this shoe is to be light, that main downside I find from this model is the durability of the sole and the lack of a deeper thread/profile. The low profile design of the sole is good for running of course, however it wears down fairly quickly and once its worn off - the shoe becomes pretty useless because you are left with a shoe that is otherwise still in great condition but its sole is like a slick tyre.

Pros:
- Super comfortable, light-weight trail running shoe
- One-pull lacing system
- Attractive design

Cons:
- Low profile sole wears off too quick
- Like many Salomon shoes, they are a better fit for people with slim feet. If you wear Orthotics, they are likely be too wide to fit into the shoe (even with taking the inner soles out)

Comment:
An excellent trail running shoe but I would prefer Salomon would make that same shoe with a deeper profile and more aggressive pattern to make the sole last longer.
