Thomas 'the machine'

Known by his friends and colleagues for his endurance, Austria born Thomas is the original Machine with more than 25 years experience in endurance and multi-sport events. Several years of competitive road cycling starting at the age of 15 was followed by more than 15 years of competing in Triathlons of all shapes and sizes - including 10 Ironman and 3 Ultra-Triathlon distances. Over the past 25 years, Thomas has completed countless bike races, Marathons, Triathlons and Trail-Runs in Europe before adding Rogaining (X-Country Navigation), Adventure Racing, Kayaking, Abseiling and Canyoning to the list of regular activities since his arrival in Australia 2000.

dinesh 'the gear-man'

Dinesh discovered the love for the outdoors and adventure sports through inspiration by his former work colleague and friend Thomas. Now a regular companion of Thomas's multi-day adventures, Dinesh spends a lot of time swimming, cycling (MTB and Road), abseiling and canyoning, camping and regular multi-day bush adventures or hikes. He attained the title of 'Gear-Man' because of the amount of money he constantly spends on the latest and greatest piece of equipment for every specific use-case.

dave 'flimpyhead'

Being randomly called a 'Flimpyhead' by his daughter for his hair style many years ago, this name has stuck with Dave ever since. He has a passion for the outdoors since his teenage years, spending a lot of time exploring various areas of the country either cycling or hiking. Dave participated  in countless endurance events for Cycling, Running, Triathlons, Ultra Trail Runs, X-Country Navigation and many more. It was during an Ultra-Tri in Canberra in 2001 when Dave met Thomas. Since then, both have regularly spent countless hours and days together, taking part in various endurance competitions or creating their own self-made adventures. In recent years, Dave has specifically focused on Abseiling, Canyoning and Caving with the team.

Steve 'The Tank'

Steve has got a solid running background that goes back several decades and he continues to clock up the miles in his running shoes - on road and off road. He competed in countless Marathons, road and trail runs as well as some Adventure races and X-Country Navigation events. Steve joined the team more than 10 years ago when he was part of an Adventure Racing team with Thomas and 2 other friends. Steve is a regular participant in the team's self-created adventures and is especially involved in Abseiling and Canyoning activities.  

Gunter 'G-House'

Like Thomas, Gunter also comes from Europe (Germany) and migrated to Australia more than 12 years ago. He joined the team good 10 years ago and is now a regular on Abseiling, Canyoning and camping activities.

Vadim 'The Businessman'

Vadim migrated to Australia from Russia almost 10 years ago. Like Gunter, he is a regular participant in the team's Abseiling, Canyoning, Caving and Camping adventures and prides himself in finding alternate solutions to common outdoor problems such as finding cheap, lightweight and effective cooking solution. Vadim loves researching the seemingly endless possibilities and his product research sometimes takes on almost scientific proportions. Thomas and Dave call him the 'Businessman' because some of Vadim's outdoor wardrobe looks like as if he was going to the office rather than a canyon (ie. nice polo shirts).
